Description

Cloned from https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1185287
Description of problem:

Currently unable to set Account Username to $login with Active Directory.

Also tried couple of other things:
For example:
1) $login
2) <DOMAIN>/$login ( i.e KATELLOLABS/$login)
3) sAMAccountName=$login,CN=Users,DC=katellolabs,DC=org

But none of the above works.

currently adding/specifying a user "foobar/example@123" works.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
nightly

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. try creating ldap auth using Active Directory
2. Under Account, upon trying to add $login to "Account Username"
3.

Actual results:
Could only specify a single username, but not $login or 1) , 2) , 3) as mentioned in the description. please refer the description.

Expected results:
Should be able to specify as mentioned, like <DOMAIN>/$login for any user without password.

$login is deprecated. Can you expand on what doesn't "work" precisely? How are you testing it?
