Description

When there is a host that had validation error and build mode was canceled, there is no way to return it to build mode because validations do trigger when you click on Build button.

We should either turn off orchestration validations or allow users to override validation errors via the build mode dialog.

Edit the host and fix the errors, and either put the host into build mode from the additional info tab, or go back to the host page once resolved? (How did you manage to cancel the build and cause validation errors anyway?)

  • Priority changed from Normal to Low

You can do that by having DNS record outside of Foreman, e.g. create host, then manage your external DNS setting up a conflict, then try to hit the button.
