Smart Matchers would be even more useful if operators different from just "=" could be used in the matching process.

For example, one might want to match on "fqdn" to begin with a specific hostname part and / or end with a specific domain.
For this, a regexp operator would be helpful. There are also occasions when > or < could help,
or one would need to combine expressions with logic operations (and / or / xor / not).
