Mitogen is a project that increases the efficiency of Ansible jobs: https://mitogen.networkgenomics.com/ansible_detailed.html#

When frequently running jobs against a large number of hosts the efficiency gains that come from using it are significant

You can manually change the config file on the SmartProxy, so you are able to do this today.
This will never be in the Foreman directly, but we might want to make the configuration bit clearer (Document what config file is used for the Job runs so Users can do these changes more efficiently).
Also adding a mention for this in our documentation in a performance tunning would be nice.

Would such change help you to get this for your setup?
