Could not generate facts for Foreman: source sequence is illegal/malformed utf-8
Description
Hello all,
I have an Smart-Proxy on a SLES-Machine (Linux) and a puppet client on a windows machine.
When the client tries to get his configuration, then this error occurs:
"Running Puppet agent on demand ...
Warning: Unable to fetch my node definition, but the agent run will continue:
Warning: Error 400 on SERVER: Failed to find myclient.com
via exec: Execution of '/etc/puppet/node.rb myclient.com'
returned 1:
Info: Retrieving plugin
Error: Could not retrieve catalog from remote server: Error 400 on SERVER: Faile
d when searching for node myclient.com: Failed to find myclient.com via exec: Execution of '/etc/puppet/node.rb myclient.com' returned 1:
Warning: Not using cache on failed catalog
Error: Could not retrieve catalog; skipping run
Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste . . ."
When I run this command on the master node: "/etc/puppet/node.rb myclient.com"
then this error occurs: "Could not generate facts for Foreman: source sequence is illegal/malformed utf-8"
Maybe there is a problem with non-UTF-8 chars with the Smart Proxy/Node.rb?

There where problmes solved around Windows-Nodes.
