# Puppet modules for managing Foreman
# Specific notes for installing on the Debian
The support for Debian in this module is quite new, and may break unexpectedly. Below
is a list of gotchas that will be needed to work with this module
# Limitations
At present, this will install foreman with sqlite3 support. Using a different database
is left as a post-install task exercise for the reader. This is normally simply installing
foreman-<dbtype> as a package and altering database.yml
# Setup
In addition to reviewing the variables, make sure your puppet certificate exists. If
you have ever run puppet before, this will be fine, but if this is a fresh install,
run (as root)
puppet master -v --no-daemonize
and then Ctrl-C to kill it once the cert has been generated.
